It’s no secret that a lot of women get their hair colored or put highlights in their hair on a regular basis. We all love doing it. But when it comes to your wedding day, I suggest you really think about the timing of when you’ll have any sort of color treatment done to your hair.
So here’s Fresh LiME’s Bridal Beauty Tip: First of all, use a colorist that you completely trust. If you’ve never had highlights or color in your hair, ask one of your close friends whose hair coloring you admire who she uses. It’s better to go based off of a referral or recommendation than just finding someone cold. And, I also recommend to my brides that they get their highlights or color done no later than two weeks prior to the wedding. This gives the color to settle down a little bit, so it’s not so blonde (if you went that way), and looks more natural. And, if God forbid, something happens, you’ll have a little time to fix it.
Just a little squeeze of LiME….
