If you’re visiting Germany and there’s a wedding going on, you’ll hear about it. Literally. You can’t escape it.
After the ceremony in Germany, it’s totally common for the bride and groom to hop in a car they’ve had decorated and drive around the city. At the same time, all the guests pile in their own cars, follow the happy couple and honking the horns all around town. The first time I heard this one summer afternoon, I was completely caught off guard, but there’s a such a fun vibe in the air, you can’t help but smile.
Think this would fly in the US? Probably not. We have Manhattan!
