Along the Southwest Coast of Florida, Naples is full of tradition and elegance.  And while it might seem stuffy outside looking in, Naples is both chic and relaxing – perhaps a perfect combination for a destination wedding.  Chic, luxurious shopping on 5^th Avenue.  Sun and heat.  Spas.  White sand beaches.  The Ritz Carlton marries tradition, elegance and relaxation in one great resort with impeccable service.

The Ritz Carlton offers something for every bride regardless if you want a traditional ballroom for 600 people, an intimate ceremony, or a beachfront ceremony and reception.  Each space is different and offers a different feel.  My choice would probably be the two-floor Beach House directly on the water.  With The Ritz Carlton’s in-house floral and décor design team, the planning process is more streamlined, which can be less stressful to a bride.  While The Ritz’s standard linen is beautiful, you can also upgrade to a different linen or rent additional furniture directly through the hotel.  Easy!

But what’s so amazing about The Ritz Carlton in Naples, Florida is what they’ve done outside of their event spaces.  With an adult and a family pool, guests without kids can relax poolside without hearing screaming or crying.  Guests can even reserve a poolside cabana that comes with a refrigerator for a little extra comfort.  The Beach Concierge will be there to help you set up your space on the beach and cater to whatever you need.  And for even more R+R, there is a full-service salon that is open to spa-members or hotel-guests only – it is not open to the public.

And for guests traveling with children, the Nature’s Wonder program is spot on.  Parents can enroll their kids in either half- or full-day programs where kids explore the nature and animals of Southwest Florida’s in a safe, hands-on experience.  If Dad wants to go golfing and Mom wants a day at the Spa, they can rest easy knowing that their children are having a ball feeding turtles and looking at gators in a safe environment.  Win-win really!

So who wants to have their destination wedding here?  It’s easy to get to from the New York City area, and you don’t have to worry about customs, passports or other logistical issues when planning a wedding outside of the country.
